Arrive Saturday Drop off pouches and grab some late night dinner or walk beach Sura Korean bbq open until 1am –

Sunday – Breakfast: Koko Head Cafe/ Kaimuki/ Chef Lee Anne Wong opened Koko Cafe in 2013. Koko Moco( a lil spin on the locals favorite, Loco Moco) and the Cornbread French Toast. Somewhat pricey, $10 -1 5 for a plate but its good. Best to go weekday, and an off period. If you have to go on a weekend, be prepared to wait.

Diamond Head – hike,# 3 thing to do in Honolulu( 45 minute walk) – 761 feet about sea level and is said to have been formed over 300,000 years ago. The traditional Hawaiin name is Le’ahi.

Shaved ice – Waiola shave ice – rainbow with mochi balls, ice cream and condensed milk

KahanamokuBeach beachside of the Hilton Hawaiian Village – surfing lesson? If available on beach – This is the section of Waikiki beach close to the Hilton Hawaiin Village Resort on the far west end.

Lunch – Helena` s/ Kalihi/ – In 1946, Helen Chock opened Helena’s Hawaiian Food and was awarded a James Beard award in 2000 for her outstanding cuisine. Parking lot is ordinarily full but there are street parking across the street. Cash only! Closes at 6? A little pricey but worth it. You can get the combo dinners or the ala carte route. It is mandatory to order their infamous “Pipikaula”. Dried beef shortribs, then fried to order. DIVINE.

Ramen or Hanks Haute Dogs – Featured on Diners/ Drive-ins and Dives, Unique Eats and Man VS Food.

Monday -( sunrise is pretty) Hike Lanikai Pillboxes( 30 minutes) – from ww2, small partly underground fort used as an outpost.

Cinnamons for breakfast – Puna Nam – owner. Try guava chiffon pancakes

Lanikai Beach( Lanikai entails heavanly ocean/ ocean) – NO BATHROOMS/ SHOWERS/ FOOD! Called the most beautiful beach in Hawaii.

Acai bowl at Lanikai Juice – opened in 1997 by Pablo Gonzalez they offer organic fruit smoothes, juices acai bowls and some other things. There are more locations across the island.

Highway Inn- Oahu- Started in 1947. Lau Lau- taro leaf wrapped around meat. Very traditional. Recommend the pipikaula, but try other things since had this already. As seen on Triple D

Tuesday- Paid- Shark cage – Haleiwa Boat Harbor 66 -1 05 Haleiwa Rd* arrive at 630

Haleiwa bowls – for dessert before giovannis? – No added sugars to there acai and smoothies. They get a lot of their ingredients from local farmers of the North Shore.

matsumoto shaved ice – been around since 1951, started by Mamoru and Helen Matsumoto. They create over 1000 orders of shaved ice daily.

Ted’s bakery for chocolate haupia tart –

Giovannis shrimp truck – Started in 1993 operating out of a converted 1953 bread truck.

Pearl Harbor Visitor Center –

Turtle beach – 83 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa HI 96712( you can snap photos of the turtles laying on the beach ).

Wednesday- Cuppin at 9am – Kama’aina Acupuncture – They offer many services, but we have always wanted to try cupping.

Liliha Bakery for breakfast/ brunch – the business started in 1950 selling loaves of bread.

Shopping at Aloha Stadium – This open air flea market is within the University of Hawaii Warrior’s footballs teams stadium . . It’s open 3 times a week on Wed, Sat and Sun.

Ramen for lunch?

Paid – Germaine’s Luau – arrive at 515 pm – Is it touristy? Who cares, it’s fun.

Thursday Surf lessons?

Magic Island – mandmade peninsula by Ala Moana Beach. It was given a new name” Aina Moana”, but not use often. Excellent views and beach.

Ramen at Goma-Tei in Ala Moana Shopping Center – Tan tan ramen

Rainbow Drive-in – it’s cheap, but that doesn’t mean poor quality food, rather the opposite. Rainbow Drive-in has plated out for over 50 years at some of the best prices in Hawaii.

Alan Wong’s Honolulu at 815 pm – One of the 12 co-founders of Hawaiin Regional Cuisine.

Friday( arrive early, it fills up fast) – Hanauma Bay – voted# 1 best beach in USA for 2016! Can rent snorkel gear at Hanauma bay

Sandy beach – watch surfers – maybe ask a lifeguard to speak on the waves.

Ono Hawaiin Foods – traditional hawaiin plates. Authentic. Lau lau made by hand. Poi.

Iolani Palace. During the late 1890′ s, Hawaii was ruled by a autocracy and Iolani Palace was the official residence of their Majesties, King Kalakaua and his sister and successor, Queen Liliuokalani.

Hike – Nuuanu Pali Lookout – This scenic place atop Windward Oahu’s peaks was the site of a fierce battle lead by King Kamehameha I.

North Shore- Big waves- bonsai pipeline is dangerous because waves are large and depth is shallow. So you can get slammed. Where Derek Donner surfed a 30 foot wave.
