My itinerary for my first Hawaiian vacation. Critiques, advice, and alternatives greet.

My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Hawaii soon, and I have a tentative itinerary I’d like some feedback on. We’ve travelled together before with similar itineraries, and always leave them open to change or substitutions.

We tend to be early risers most days. Generally, I plan on having one time slot available in the morning, one offered in the afternoon, and the evenings open to eating, drinking, etc. We like beaches, swimming, nature, coffee, trying new food, relaxing in quiet places, and are open to memorable experiences.

We’ll stay in one hotel in Kona, and one in Poipu, and have rental cars for both islands. We’ve not been to Hawaii before, are very excited, and welcome any advice and suggestions you might have.
