Ulster Newsroom By John Dickson
At the La Mon Hotel today the Ireland ‘A’ team is manager, the former Malone and Ulster winger Joey Miles, announced the Irish team to face Tonga at Ravenhill this Friday evening at 7.00pm. Asked if he was pleased this A fixture was being played at Ravenhill Joey said,
“I’m delighted it’s being played in Belfast. I just hope the Ulster rugby public come out and support it. It’s one of the things that the IRFU think long and hard about, moving the A internationals around the provincial bases. It’s really up to the rugby public now to come out and support the IRFU on that decision. But, yes, I’m personally delighted to be in Belfast.”
